This series began with my love for printmaking and constant search for how I can bring color to it on a larger scale. I explored reduction relief printing and then started incorporating it into my larger scale work on paper. I carve a reduction relief and print several versions in different colors (each one is unique), and then paint and draw over the print with inktense pencils, color inks, watercolors, or gouache. While this process is time-consuming, I love every step of it, as well as the final, unpredictable pieces.
