I'm back home in VA after an inspiring residency at Arts 14C in Jersey City, with new work, new friendships, and plenty of ideas still unfolding.

A new studio, a different city, and a painting taking shape. A glimpse into the beginning of my Arts 14C residency in Jersey City, where I’m exploring how the places we inhabit become part of us.

An article about me by Svetlana Velkovsky, in “Gorozhanka,” a Russian-American women’s magazine founded in 2008 in San Francisco:

Juried group exhibition at the Athenaeum Gallery in Alexandria, VA

The art school where I’ve had the joy of teaching for the past 13 years, US Arts in Vienna and Chantilly, VA, is hosting a wonderful faculty show! I’m so proud to be part of a team of incredibly talented artist-teachers who bring their creativity and passion to the classroom every day. I have two mixed media drawings and one large acrylic painting in the exhibition, and it’s truly inspiring to see the diverse and beautiful work my colleagues have created. If you get a chance
