I begin with a series of abstract monotypes, printed in vibrant etching inks — each one entirely unique. Once dry, I draw and paint over them using ink pens, colored inks, watercolor, acrylic, and color pencils. I’m drawn to the unpredictability of this process and embrace the unexpected at every stage.
