Fine Art creations, transforming radiation masks formerly worn by NHC patients to position their heads during treatment, will be auctioned at the Gala.​

Thanks to an amazing group of artists' and practitioners’ with their unique perspective and creative responses and reflections, this project presented itself as an opportunity to come together. It allowed us to build a creative community in these uncertain times to share, connect, engage, collaborate, and create.

​In 2001 I received a grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities to paint a series of portraits of local Washingtonians: Joe Ruffin (artist), Anna Maria (restaurant owner and entrepreneur), Kelly and Maze (Twins Jazz founders), Mohammad Ali (local TV host), Peter Fraize (jazz saxophonist), and Federal Jazz Commission (dixieland band).
